FOX HARB’R GOLF COURSE HISTORY

Looking back on Years of Golf Excellence

This premier Nova Scotia golf course was named Best New Course by Golf Digest in 2001 – the first full year it was open and with good reason. The scenery is something to behold, the design of Fox Harb’r provides two completely different styles for ultimate variety and the course itself will test every club in your bag. Meet the renowned golf course architect that has made this possible and golf legends that have walked the fairways of Fox Harb’r.

TIGER WOODS, CHARLES BARKLEY & HANK HANEY

The 2009 Nike Golf Invitational allowed golf aficionados a one-of-a-kind opportunity to spend the day with one of the world’s greatest athletes. With a limited media and guest list the affair was truly an up close and personal experience in a relaxed and very intimate setting. The event featured a nine-hole exhibition match between Tiger Woods, Charles Barkley and celebrity golf swing coach Hank Haney. “I’ve never been to this part of Canada before and it’s beautiful,” Tiger Wood commented. “The event was great and it was really fun to play with my friends Hank and Charles; we don’t get a chance to play with each other very often. I’m also thankful that we were able to raise a lot of money for my foundation and for Canadian junior golf.”
