The Great Room
Fine fare abounds at Fox Harb'r
Shared Experiences
"Your chef, was a real pleasure to talk to about the cuisine and he prepared some great dining experiences for us. He even printed a recipe for us!"
White tablecloths, sparkling wine glasses and refined cutlery truly elevate the Great Room's aesthetic appeal. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide stunning views of the golf courses and the natural beauty that surrounds Fox Harb'r. A knowledgeable sommelier can expertly recommend a wine that will enhance a particular meal's sumptuous taste. All this and more make up a five-star dining experience that is sure to please even the most distinguished epicureans.
The culinary team at Fox Harb'r has expertly designed a seasonally-inspired menu, created from the highest quality local ingredients. Regional recipes and Nova Scotian food staples like Northumberland lobster, Malagash oysters and Tatamagouche lamb are transformed into dishes that awaken the palate and stimulate the senses.
Renowned signature dishes include:
- Fox Harb'r raised pheasant and quail confit
- Butter-poached Nova Scotia lobster
- A seafood platter featuring Malagash oysters, crab legs, sea scallops, Nova Scotia lobster, Atlantic halibut and jumbo shrimp
- Local Tatamagouche rack of lamb brushed with Dijon mustard and roasted nuts
Whether guests come to Fox Harb'r for the golf, the spa or the sport shooting, they all experience one thing in common: unforgettable cuisine that begins with Belgian waffles at breakfast and continues right up to the evening's Chocolate Espresso Cake following a 3-course meal.
