FRANK MCKENNA ANNUAL NETWORKING EVENT
Frank McKenna, Deputy Chair of TD Bank Financial Group and former Canadian Ambassador to the U.S. has been holding his annual networking event here since 2003. His guests rave about our location as do the guest speakers he brings in: Prime Minister John Major, President Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, Al Gore, Ambassador David Wilkins, sports legend Wayne Gretzky, Senators Edward Thompson and John Edwards.
NIKE GOLF INVITATIONAL
When the world’s number-one golfer planned a fundraising event in Canada, he and his sponsors at Nike turned to Fox Harb’r. The 2009 Nike Golf Invitational featured a nine-hole exhibition match between Tiger Woods, Charles Barkley and celebrity swing coach Hank Haney, and, for a few, the rare opportunity to golf with Tiger.
RON JOYCE INVITATIONAL FOR MACKIDS
In just two years, the Ron Joyce Invitational has raised more than $745,000 for the Child Obesity Program and McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. McMaster and its Child Health Research Institute was selected for their leading-edge research and treatment of child obesity that will make a difference to kids around the world.
