Americans Still Welcome (Even After Those Gold Medals)

So you won hockey gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Twice. We noticed. We’ve reviewed the tapes. And while we’re prepared to offer congratulations, we’d also like the record to show that we believe we played the better offensive game. More pressure. More chances. But less hardware. It happens.

At Fox Harb’r Resort, we understand rivalry. We also understand that the best competitions end with a handshake, a raised glass, and plans to do it all again tomorrow.

For Americans considering a golf escape north of the border, allow us to be perfectly clear: you are warmly welcome here. Gold medals and all.

Nova Scotia’s relationship with the United States runs deep. For centuries, ships moved between our shores. New England fishermen worked these waters. Loyalists settled here, shaping communities that still carry their influence. Trade, family ties and shared enterprise have crossed this border for generations. The connection is not seasonal. It is structural.

At Fox Harb’r, that connection is best experienced rather than explained. The Northumberland Strait dictates the rhythm of the day here:  wind influencing club selection, tides quietly marking time, mornings begin with salt air and stillness while evenings settle into long light over the water.

Our new course is sculpted to feel native to the coastline, its routing thoughtful, its bunkers edged by hand, its conditioning precise without feeling overmanaged. It challenges without theatrics.

Our food is equally grounded. Atlantic lobster, scallops and halibut arrive from nearby waters. Produce and wine come from just down the road. Technique is refined but restrained: flavour first, presentation second. It is a dining experience rooted in place, not performance.

Beyond golf and cuisine, there is space. A spa designed for restoration rather than spectacle. Deep-water access for those who prefer the Strait by boat. Trails, shoreline and open sky. Some of the best beaches and warmest waters north of the Carolinas. The heart of our brand of luxury is tranquility.

And while we may continue to argue that we carried the offensive play back in Milan, the better game now is the one unfolding along our fairway.

Victories fade. Rematches endure. Come visit.
